2. Booking and Consultation

By booking an appointment with Rebecca Claxton Tattoos, you agree to the following:

• All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment slot
• Deposits are typically £50-£100 depending on the size and complexity of the design
• Deposits are deducted from your final tattoo cost
• Consultation may be required for complex designs
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

• 48 hours notice is required to reschedule without losing your deposit
• Less than 48 hours notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit
• No-shows forfeit their deposit and may be refused future bookings
• Rescheduling is allowed once per booking; further changes require a new deposit
• We understand emergencies happen - please contact us as soon as possible

4. Health and Safety Requirements

For your safety and ours, you must:

• Disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect the tattoo process
• Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during your appointment
• Be in good health on the day of your appointment
• Inform us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Follow all aftercare instructions provided

5. Design and Artwork

• Custom designs remain the intellectual property of Rebecca Claxton Tattoos until tattooed
• Once tattooed, you own the rights to your specific tattoo
• We reserve the right to photograph tattoos for portfolio use unless you opt out
• Design changes on the day may incur additional charges
• We do not copy other artists' work exactly - we create inspired pieces

6. Pricing and Payment

• Prices are quoted based on size, detail, and estimated time
• Hourly rate applies for larger pieces
• Payment is due in full upon completion of the tattoo
• We accept cash and bank transfer
• Tips are appreciated but never expected

7. Aftercare and Touch-ups

• Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided and must be followed
• Free touch-ups are offered within 3 months if healing issues arise due to our work
• Touch-ups needed due to poor aftercare are chargeable
• Sun damage, weight changes, and aging are not covered by touch-up policy

8. Liability and Disclaimers

By receiving a tattoo from us, you acknowledge that:

• Tattooing carries inherent risks including infection, scarring, and allergic reactions
• Results may vary based on skin type, aftercare, and individual healing
• We are not liable for any issues arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions
• We are not responsible for spelling errors in text you have approved
• Tattoos are permanent and removal is expensive and may not be fully effective

9. Studio Policies

• One guest maximum per client (space permitting)
• No children allowed in the studio
• Photography/video of the process requires permission
• Please maintain personal hygiene for your appointment
• Respectful behavior is required at all times

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We maintain client records in compliance with UK data protection laws. Your information is never shared with third parties without consent. See our Privacy Policy for details.

11. Disputes and Governing Law

These terms are governed by UK law. Any disputes will be handled through good faith discussion first, and if necessary, through appropriate legal channels in Plymouth, UK.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Current terms will always be available on our website.
